For over fifteen years Scott Schuman has devoted his professional life to the fashion industry. His last formal job title was director of men's fashion at the famed department store Bergdorf Goodman. In 2005, As a side hobby, he began taking photographs of people on the streets of NY whose look inspired him. He uploaded the shots on his website, thesartorialist.blogspot.com, and has since become a cult sensation. His "hobby" now takes him across the world (India, Italy, Sweden to name a few) and he's become a style icon in his own right, but his mission is still the same. Inspiration.
