Aleksandra Mir, Newsroom 1986-2000

Massive reproductions of New York Post covers from 1986-2000. The pieces are rendered entirely with Sharpie felt markers. The pieces (200 all together) shape a graphic narrative of New York City, one of sensation and familiarity. The covers relating to Wall St. crashes are almost 15 years old and eerily could be mistaken for covers today.
